This natural stone has a stunning vibrant reddish orange hue. It is a faceted Mexican Fire Opal solitaire that is 6mm in diameter and is set in a 14k solid gold tube setting that is open at the back. The chain is a 14k solid gold 1.3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. This is a minimalist design that provides a vivid pop of color as a statement necklace or layers well with other gold designs.

This stone is clear with no inclusions visible to the naked eye and captures the light beautifully. The Aztec culture held that a gem with this fire and beauty had to have originated in the seas of Paradise. Fire opal is the only natural opal that is normally faceted.
