This small oval of Sleeping Beauty turquoise was mined in Arizona and is a clear sky blue. The Sleeping Beauty mine closed in 2012, so this turquoise is becoming harder to find. I set it in a handmade 14k solid gold bezel, and it hangs from a hammered 14k gold circle with a front toggle clasp. The stone measures 14 × 7mm.

It’s a simple pendant, but the pop of blue makes it a delicate statement piece. The chain is a 1.3mm 14k gold cable chain. Choose 16, 18 or 20 inches in the options.
