14k Gold Peridot Necklace with Blue Green Tourmaline Beads.

This vibrant green peridot is a peridot with Ludwigite - these are the needle-like inclusions of the mineral Ludwigite, a magnesium-iron borate. These stones are rare, and are prized by collectors for their striking appearance, featuring black, hair-like Ludwigite needles within the green peridot's rich, olive-green color and give each stone a unique appearance. It is a rose cut stone and its high dome protrudes from the 14k solid gold setting. The gold surrounding it compliments and enhances the peridot’s color. The beads on the necklace are rare Paraiba tourmaline beads with variations of blues - and greens that tonally match the stone. The tiny cube beads are punctuated with two 14k gold tube beads that frame the stone and setting. The necklace is 16” long with a 1” extender and so can be worn between 16 and 17”. The pendant measures 15 x 10mm.
