This petit golden crescent moon pendant is made from recycled 14k solid gold that has been hammered into a round nugget and then shaped into a crescent moon. The hammering creates an uneven texture on the surface that is much like the moon itself, and like the moon, in spite of its size, it is noticeable and recognizable in its shape and symbolism. It is a dainty delicate moon that can be worn layered with other necklaces or on it's own as a striking minimalist everyday piece. The moon is not completely flat, it is approximately 0.8 - 1mm thick and so is not flimsy but is 'chunky' for it's size. The pendant - including the bail - measures 11mm by 5mm. It is suspended from a 1.5mm 14k solid gold cable chain, choose your length - 16”, 18” or 20” in the drop down options.
